5 Unique and Powerful ways to Boost Your Confidence Order in court! The trial has begun! With gossip, intrigue, mystery and suspense dangling in the air, everyone is ready to partake in this investigative journey of life - in order to reach a favourable outcome. But are we to continue to be guilty of insecurity (like I was for many, many, many years) or will we be innocent of all wrong doing and plead confident after this article? (Like where I am currently in life and have been for a while.) Well dear sleuths, there's a load of interesting ground to cover so let's smoke our imaginary detective pipe and get started. 1. Change your perception. (At number one we are talking about physical appearance only.) During those dark, stormy winter nights of my life I always felt I wasn't attractive enough and this caused me to become insecure. And I'm guessing many of you have felt or feeling this way. # AmIRight? I would look at ot

How to use a daily planner in a fun and efficient way.

Hey Sleuths! So I did a bit of investigative research and asked 32 people around me if they use a daily planner and how do they use it?  These are the results: *Clears throat for effect* 24 said that they do use a planner but of those 24 only 19 stick to using a planner 'cos the other 5 felt like writing down plans was a tedious chore.  "Hmmm, interesting," I pondered.  While the number 32 is a drop in the ocean compared to millions and millions of people who do use a planner and some who use it but in a redundant way, my investigation still reflected people's thoughts on using a notebook to jot down tasks.  This simply means that there are people who don't use a planner (shocking I know) and some who do but find it mundane.  All of this now brings me back to me and what I think of using a planner. If you look at me now, I’m sitting at my desk with my right arm raised. (Well…that’s after I typed the sentence out.) You may frown at my co

Ok ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to eradicate all of life’s stress and turmoil, unwind, open a bottle of wine (or stir up some tea / coffee with a healthy dose of cream), and reach for a mystery novel! Ya’ all snuggled up and cosy? Ok, let’s go. For those peeps who are a fan of the Mystery or Thriller Genre then I highly recommend the Sunday Times labelled bestselling book I’m about to review. It's called The Dead Ex.  But first, some background info: It all started when a book store opened up at a mall near me, called Bargain Books. * Cue sound of violins playing ever so melodically.* Bargain Books, as I learnt that fateful day, sells a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, by well-known and not so well-known authors at VERY affordable costs. To me that is the equivalent of eating Swiss chocolate and a medley of cheese and red wine…EVERDAY! (Like seriously, it cannot get any better than that!) Anyway, I walked into Bargain Books, spent thre

Are stars in the night sky really from the past?

Katy was always drawn to the unknown, especially her love for space and the stars. Maybe it was because for her, mystery was magnetic...in a sexy way. Like her neighbour Josh, who had moved in a month ago. He didn't make an attempt to introduce himself to anyone in the area but not in an impolite way. He kept to himself and the only time Katy saw him out the house was when he went to gym and work. Other than that all she, and the other neighbours knew about him, was his name. But Katy brushed that aside for now. She clicked on her phone and opened up her favourite blog to read about one of the most interesting questions asked by curious minds. Katy began to read... Jade Brey's blog Thank me later but, the next time you out with your SO – Significant Other- and you decide to have a pleasant outdoor date night, laying on a soft blanket and gazing up the stars, this is what you say, “(*Insert person’s name here*) did you know that we are staring into the past?” Your S
